Activity Guide

Over several years, Library staff have worked to build a useful tool for our community. We heard from members of the community there was a need and desire to have a resource for activities and events happening all around town. With research, ideas, and other local community examples we began the process of putting together a seasonal guide for Solon.

We're proud to share our seasonal Activity Guide with our community as part of our Strategic Plan. During the different phases of developing our updated Strategic Plan we continued to hear from our community - a key goal we have is "Know Your Community/Be An Informed Citizen" and this guide is a large part of this. The Solon Public Library shares information and activities from the Solon Recreation Department, Public Works, and other area organizations in this guide. Do you have an event to share? Let us know! You can submit your community event via email or complete this online form. 

Our first guide was published in January 2023 for the Spring of 2023, and we've already grown to including multiple pages of fantastic programs and events for everyone!
